Three Mile Valley
At the base of the Bastion is an ideal place for picnics and bushwalking. There are two walking trails from the picnic area: one follows the creek where there a number of waterfalls (in the wet season) and waterholes: the other heads up the Bastion Range, which provides spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
