These large bronze statues of an Aboriginal family and native animals are a proud reminder of the Aboriginal heritage of the Wyndham area.

The family group of statues known as the dreamtime statues.

They were designed and built by Aboriginal families, traditional owners and descendants of the stolen generation.

The Statues were built as part of a Bi-Centenary project and originally intended for Kings Park in Perth as an Indigenous People contribution towards Reconciliation and the development of a new Australian society.

Warriu Park and its Indigenous workers hosts a world wide variety of visitors each year to perpetuate the process of Reconciliation.
