Wyndham - See it to believe it!
Gazetted in 1886, Wyndham is a town of approximately 800 people in the East Kimberley. Our stunning town backdrop is The Bastion (on top of which sits the Five Rivers Lookout) - part of the Bastion Ranges which overlook the three main sections of the town ~ Port Wyndham, Wyndham Three Mile and Wyndham Six Mile.

The Port handles live cattle export, nitrate for Argyle Diamond Mine, sugar and molasses, fuel and other goods entering and leaving the East Kimberley. The close of the Wyndham Meatworks in the mid - 1980s saw a trend of business and government agencies transferring to the newer town of Kununurra and a decline in the population of Wyndham. One of our best kept secrets is that we have the CHEAPEST Fuel in the Kimberley.
Wyndham is a historic town, with plenty to see and do, especially if you are a keen four-wheel-driver, camper and bush walker. Some of our best spots are a town secret! From here you can explore El Questro Station, Parrys Creek Wildlife Reserve and Diggers Rest station overland, or the Cambridge Gulf by boat!
